(2021) A Day in the Life of Missoni Hayes

There isn’t really a typical day for us. Some days we’re at the studio and other days we travel for video or photo shoots. So not everyday is the same. Today we set up lights, audio and a camera. I recently learned how to transfer pictures and videos from a memory card to a laptop then to a hard drive. Most days consist of me trying to get a feel around the camera and understanding the settings. We do a lot of video and photo editing. I learn something new everyday. Sometimes things can be hectic. I have a tough time setting up the lights mainly because they are so heavy and tall. The camera settings are also very hard to remember. Today I accomplished putting the audio together and got the camera settings together.

Today was a pretty easy chill day.

8:30 - I woke up, took a shower brushed my teeth and washed my face. I got dressed, did my makeup and packed my work bag, which consists of a water bottle, my laptop and self accessories. 

9:30 - I finally got to the studio. I had to clean up the area a little bit. Then I learned more about editing.

10:00 - We set up the lights and Camera. We use each other to get the settings and lighting right.

10:30 - After we finish getting the setting together we set up the audio, which connects to the camera.

11:30 - People came and we took their headshots. We all took turns taking three pictures each.

12:30 - It's finally lunch time. Usually we walk to the gas station, but today we walked to the Wendeys.

1:30 - I finally went home and took a nap!
